Students supply artwork to hospital
Photography students have helped to brighten up the lives people with brain injuries after they were asked to provide calming artwork for the walls of Hunters Moor neurorehabilitation centre in Birmingham.
The Newcastle College students were asked to submit positive, uplifting and calming photographs that would add some colour and decoration to the centre’s walls and corridors.
In all a total of 135 pictures of a very high standard were submitted and eventually 50 were selected to go up on the walls. Meanwhile, an overall winning picture award was given to student Tom Welsh, with Marnie Coulson, Nikita Antell, Simon Drummond and Stephen Walton also winning cash prizes.
Their winning artwork will now be displayed in the most prominent areas of the facility.
