Clients and Carers

Supporting our clients' carers and families is a high priority within Hunters Moor as we believe that they are integral to the success of our rehabilitation. We are committed to supporting carers to continue to be involved in the lives of their relative or friend and we will always try to help with their specific needs. Carers are encouraged to be involved in the decisions made about the client's care and treatment as they have a wealth of knowledge about the person we are caring for.

If you or someone close to you has been diagnosed with a brain disorder or has suffered a brain injury, you may be seeking information and support. In this section of the website we aim to offer answers to some of your questions and show you where to find more help.

If you have a diagnosis that you do not fully understand, take a look at our page on Diagnosis Information and to better understand the terminology used, see our Glossary of Terms. Please take a look at Why Hunters Moor? to see how we can help you and your family, or read through our FAQ’s, which answer some of the more frequent questions we get asked.

There are many organisations and charities which offer a wealth of information and support. Please see our Library of Resources for some useful links to their websites.
