Prof. Mike Barnes, Clinical Director
Mike is Professor of Neurological Rehabilitation at University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He is also founder and Immediate Past President of the World Federation of Neurological Rehabilitation, a body that seeks to improve the knowledge of, and access to, Neurological Rehabilitation Services around the world. John Donovan, Managing Director
John Donovan is a nurse by profession who worked as a senior NHS manager between 1991 and 2007. For 10 years he specialised in managing services for individuals with complex disabilities before becoming a founding director of Hunters Moor. Read more
Russell Hardy, Non-Executive Chairman
Russell Hardy currently has a portfolio of non executive positions in the Healthcare sector. As well as being Chair of Hunters Moor, he is also Chair of the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic and District Hospital and Chair of the Multiple Sclerosis Trust. Read more

Michelle Kudhail, Unit Manager/Physiotherapist
Michelle is a qualified physiotherapist with over 16 years experience in the neurorehabilitation field. She is also one of the few physiotherapy injectors in the UK. Her clinical interest is in gait analysis, spasticity management and orthotics.
Dr Kanu Achinivu, MBBS MSc MRCPsych
Dr Achinivu is lead Consultant Neuropsychiatrist for the Olive Carter Unit. He specialises in the neuropsychiatric assessment and treatment of adult patients with mental illness in the context of Neurodevelopmental disorders or acquired brain injury. Billy Bell, Behavioural Nurse Specialist
Billy is a qualified psychiatric nurse of many years standing. He established and ran the north east's inpatient neurobehavioural unit within the NHS. His clinical interest is is in neurobehavioural assessment and treatment with particular experience in the management of disturbed behaviour.
